From GoogleYeah! We (Ju and me) went to watch Night at the Museum 2: The Battle of Smithsonian on midnight show. We wanted to catch the earlier show but what do you expect on Saturday's night, right? It was good enough for us to get a seat just by walk-in and of course PLUS with a few foul play. Haha.
The story was more or less the same as the first one. It was a story about the museum came alive at night because of the tablet of Akmunrah. It was more interesting by a few level because of the introduction of new characters, jokes and place.
The old characters along with the new one; like Kahmunrah - Akmunrah's brother (played by Hank Azaria), Amelia Earheart (played by Amy Adams), Bobble-head Einstein, Jonas Brothers as Cupids, Darth Vader, Abe the Honest and some others who made the movie more cheerful. The jokes was not typical movie comedy jokes. It can make you laughed-out-loud (sampai nangis okay!) and nowhere near cliché. The new scene was at the world largest museum in DC. And can you imagine how the world largest museum comes alive at night? It was a chaos.
For those who watched the 1st sequel must be wondering what actually happen after the 2 years, right? A lot of things happen. Larry Daley became a successful inventor and a CEO of his company (I forgot the name of the company). This was what he always wanted to do before. He want to be rich, famous and all. But he kinda missing something. Passion. He missed that. And he found it in this new sequel.
The movie was hysterically hilarious, very entertaining and somehow cute. I laughed at every scene. This movie was nowhere near Oscar performances or winners. But it promises an almost 2hours good entertainment and comedy. That I can assure you. :)
Totally recommended for those who need a break from daily tight work schedules (and tight face too). Laughter is really good for your complexion. And I had mine last night. I slept with a long smile on my face, woke up with a bright sunny day. What a feelings!

I watched it yesterday with my movie partner. Satu pilihan yg bijak..over Terminator. haha. We both gelak tak hengat & it was fun time for both of us.
