P.S. I Love You.

I've read the book. The book by Cecilia Ahern.

And I've seen the movie too.

I'm still like the book more than the movie. I can feel what Holly really felt. The lost. The loneliness. Everyone around you just keep moving. Till you don't know how to catch up. You just forget how to catch up. You just need guidance.

There was few changes in the movie but the flows still in there.

Still think the book-version better. :)

One thing I like about the movie. There's one song. I like it so much.

The Pogues - Love You 'Till The End

I just want to see you
When you're all alone
I just want to catch you if I can
I just want to be there
When the morning light explodes
On your face it radiates
I can't escape
I love you 'till the end

I just want to tell you nothing
You don't want to hear
All I want is for you to say
Why don't you just take me
Where I've never been before
I know you want to hear me
Catch my breath
I love you 'till the end

I just want to be there
When we're caught in the rain
I just want to see you laugh not cry
I just want to feel you
When the night puts on its cloak
I'm lost for words don't tell me
All I can say
I love you 'till the end

P.s. I love you. I love you till the end.

hmm looks like i have to read more books :)

i will buy 3 books for next book shopping p.s i love you, marley & me and inkheart.

based on my experience movie never beat book because book always give us better imagination than movie.

i was frustrated with movie like lotr, potter and golden compass when i expected too much in a movie.

so now i know what to expect :)

p/s: don't you want to join music monday? :)

Yep! Totally on your side. Movie always not as much as I expected. The movie Stardust, not as exciting as the book by Neil Gaiman. Same goes to LOTR, and InkHeart.

I love how they pictures characters in InkHeart, but in the movie, the characters was not really in to it. Maybe because of the 2-hours plus duration can't really cater the excitement of whole book.

p/s: I don't know how Music Monday'w work. :)

I still haven't watched the movie yet. I downloaded it a couple of months ago! Hehe!

But yeah, the book is good. Hmm, I don't remember if I cried or not. But I remember shedding tears with Ahern's other book: Where Rainbows End.

faisal admar,

yeah, i frustrated too. maybe her character was shadowed by the well-known actors and actresses.

Kidman's dress je stunning giler. mcam mane nak perasan serafina pekala kat situ. :)

Josette,

I love to read your blog. I've got some collections over your reviews. :)

You should watch the movie. In the beginning, it doesn't portray much of the book. And how I pictured the couple when I read.

I like the part where they making the video on Holly's birthday and show it in Danny's Bar. But there was nothing like that in the movie. No such thing. And some other few changes. :(

I like the book-version so much.

p/s: the rainbow ends is about the old couple isn't it?

I'm sure they changed quite a bit from the book, right? I think I'll watch it today and let you know what I think of it.

As for the Rainbows book, yeah, they'll be an old couple in the end! But the story starts when they're small kids, probably around 5 years old. It's quite interesting. You might like it if you loved PS I Love You. Give it a try! :)

CAHAYA said...

Yep. In fact, a lot of changes in the movie. But, the storyline remains.

But I like the book-version part, where the envelope full of Gerry's letter gave to Holly at once. And she can't wait to open it one by one every month.

Ok. I will try the rainbow book later. I've already done book-shopping for the month. :)

Hey there,

I finally watched this movie this morning! I thought it was boring...(I've used the word 'boring' quite a lot of times in your blog today! :D)

But really, the Daniel guy? His character made me yawn. Haha! I only liked Lisa Kudrow's role and Holly's sister, Ciara.

And ooh, Gerard Butler's hot! He's another reason why I continued watching. :D

The scenery of Ireland is so beautiful...made me wish I was right there.
