From GoogleI was kinda having conversation with one of my colleague of fairy tales and dreams. He was quite knowledgeable when it comes to well-known fairy tales. He brought up some points about fairy tales, his dream wedding and some sweet lines or quotes from fairy tales movie that he saw. It was funny. And cliché.
The stories was more or less the same. Just the plot in the middle changed. It's typical for a fairy tales to start with something like; Once upon a time, or In the kingdom of far far away, or any other cheesy starting lines. When it starts, your mind wonders. Your imagination start to believe that 'once upon a time' was somewhere there. Somewhere real. Exist!
The stories then will end with; They live happily ever after. And there goes the moral of the story. Cute!
Do parents read that kinda stories nowadays? It will be possible for full-time housewives to do it. But for working parents? I doubt. The reason why I said this because, I've never heard my parents read to me even once. They are hardworking people back then. Now? I'm 28years old. I can read it myself. I wonder and explore the stories myself. With books and motion pictures.
While wondering and exploring, I've developed my own. My own dreams. My own fairy tales. Just like Snow White, Cinderella and princesses that their stories have been told all over the world. My life will be wonderful if it were to come true. Don't you think so?
Kidding. Whatever I had right now are wonderful enough. Alhamdulillah. Why would I need more? Do you need more?
p/s: I don't wanna live in a dream. Take me back into reality please. He made me felaiiiiiiiing! I don't wanna fall.

As a parent I have to admit when buying children/bedtime storybooks,the illustrations (plus price range) came first!
Children's books are those that "We judge the book by its cover" :) though only fairytales.

Fairy tales exist, as long as you let it. But after a while, you got tired..and you will ask for more challenges because life is a mixture of hot and cold, sweet and sour, original and spicy. Imagination is so powerful than knowledge. But with knowledge, that imagination will become real. And then..that fairy tales...well, remains.

Exist? I don't think so. But we can believe it exist if we want to. Living in a fairy tales doesn't mean you're belong to one or living in a dream. But to keep the dream alive by achieving it is the most important.

Ohh girl. I missed you. It always up to oneself whether to live in a dream or make that dream comes true. To live in a dream solely sure make you tired and boring.
Everyone needs challenges in their life. It's what make one perfect or close to perfection at least. Every challenge we've been thru' I'm sure we learnt something from it.
